A DEVOTEE SHOULD NOT EAT MEAT.

In Vedas
and
Shashtras
it is said:
Ahimsa
Parmo
Dharma,
and in
Shreemad
Bhagvatam
it is said
that it
should not
be even
done
(killing) for
sacrifices
purposes
and Yagna
and
Shraadh...
Where we
see the
mixture or
description
in holy
books of
kiling
animals for
sacrificing
or religious
purposes, it
is said that
its not
written by
our Rishis, it
was
changed by
people who
loved to eat
meat etc.
In Shiv
Puran, it is
said that
any one kills
any
innocent
Jiva (living
being) will
be
suffering
from Pain
given to
him for
ages
(Reference:
Shiv Puran-
Uma
Samhita-
Chapter 2,
3, 4, 8). You
can read
the
scriptures
that I have
quoted.
People who
loved to eat
meat and
drink
alcohol, just
curropted
the name
of Lord
Shiva to
fulfil their
own
purpose. In
Shreemad
Bhagvat-
Narad Muni
describes
that ''....
Para
Pritiyatha
Na
Pashuhinsa''
even to
make
Devtas and
Pitrus
happy, do
not eat
meat or
make
sacrifices
of animals
or birds...

SURYAPUTRA SHANIDEV AND HANUMAN

The
worship of
Lord
Hanuman is
a panacea
for the
harsh
effects of
the
'unfavourab
le' presence
of Lord
Shani. In
the
Ramayana,
Lord
Hanuman is
said to
have
rescued
Shani from
the
clutches of
Ravana and
in gratitude,
Shani
promised
Hanuman
that
anyone
who prayed
to Him
(Hanuman),
especially
on
Saturdays,
would be
rescued
from the
"malefic"
effects of
Saturn, or
at the very
least, the
effects
would be
softened.
Another
version of
the
encounter
between
Lord
Hanuman
and Shani
Bhagavan is
that once
Shani
climbed on
to
Hanuman's
shoulder,
implying
that Shani's
influence
was
beginning
on Lord
Hanuman.
At this,
Hanuman
assumed a
large size,
and Shani
was caught
painfully
between
Hanuman's
shoulders
and the
ceiling of
the room
they were
in. As the
pain was
unbearable,
Lord Shani
requested
Lord
Hanuman
to release
him,
promising in
return, that
if a person
prayed to
Lord
Hanuman,
he (Shani)
would
moderate
or eliminate
the malefic
effects of
his
influence on
that
person;
following
this, Lord
Hanuman
released
Shani.
Ways to
please
Shani
Bhagavan
According
to legend,
Shani is a
devotee of
Lord Shiva.
As
mentioned
in the
"Navagraha
Pidahara
Sthothram"
of
"Brahmanda
Purana",
anybody
who chants
the
following
sthothra is
relieved
from all the
ill-effects
of Shani.

''SHANI VRAT VIDHI''

शनि पक्षरहित होकर
अगर पाप कर्म
की सजा देते हैं तो उत्तम
कर्म करने वाले मनुष्य
को हर प्रकार की सुख
सुविधा एवं वैभव
भी प्रदान करते हैं।
शनि देव
की जो भक्ति पूर्वक
व्रतोपासना करते हैं वह
पाप की ओर जाने से बच
जाते हैं जिससे
शनि की दशा आने पर उन्हें
कष्ट नहीं भोगना पड़ता।
शनिवार व्रत
की विधि (Shanidev
Vrat Vidhi)
शनिवार का व्रत यूं
तो आप वर्ष के
किसी भी शनिवार के
दिन शुरू कर सकते हैं परंतु
श्रावण मास में शनिवार
का व्रत प्रारम्भ
करना अति मंगलकारी है ।
इस व्रत का पालन करने
वाले को शनिवार के दिन
प्रात: ब्रह्म मुहूर्त में
स्नान करके शनिदेव
की प्रतिमा की विधि सहित
पूजन करनी चाहिए।
शनि भक्तों को इस दिन
शनि मंदिर में जाकर
शनि देव को नीले
लाजवन्ती का फूल, तिल,
तेल, गुड़ अर्पण
करना चाहिए। शनि देव के
नाम से दीपोत्सर्ग
करना चाहिए।
शनिवार के दिन शनिदेव
की पूजा के पश्चात उनसे
अपने अपराधों एवं जाने
अनजाने जो भी आपसे पाप
कर्म हुआ हो उसके लिए
क्षमा याचना करनी चाहिए।
शनि महाराज की पूजा के
पश्चात राहु और केतु
की पूजा भी करनी चाहिए।
इस दिन
शनि भक्तों को पीपल में
जल देना चाहिए और
पीपल में सूत्र बांधकर
सात बार
परिक्रमा करनी चाहिए।
शनिवार के दिन
भक्तों को शनि महाराज
के नाम से व्रत
रखना चाहिए।
शनिश्वर के
भक्तों को संध्या काल में
शनि मंदिर में जाकर दीप
भेंट करना चाहिए और
उड़द दाल में
खिचड़ी बनाकर
शनि महाराज को भोग
लगाना चाहिए। शनि देव
का आशीर्वाद लेने के
पश्चात आपको प्रसाद
स्वरूप
खिचड़ी खाना चाहिए।
सूर्यपुत्र शनिदेव
की प्रसन्नता हेतु इस
दिन काले
चींटियों को गुड़ एवं
आटा देना चाहिए। इस
दिन काले रंग का वस्त्र
धारण करना चाहिए।
अगर आपके पास समय
की उपलब्धता हो तो शनिवार
के दिन 108 तुलसी के
पत्तों पर श्री राम
चन्द्र जी का नाम
लिखकर, पत्तों को सूत्र में
पिड़ोएं और माला बनाकर
श्री हरि विष्णु के गले में
डालें। जिन पर
शनि का कोप चल
रहा हो वह भी इस
मालार्पण के प्रभाव से
कोप से मुक्त हो सकते हैं।
इस प्रकार भक्ति एवं
श्रद्धापूर्वक शनिवार के
दिन शनिदेव का व्रत एवं
पूजन करने से शनि का कोप
शांत होता है और
शनि की दशा के समय उनके
भक्तों को कष्ट
की अनुभूति नहीं होती है।

Shani Deva or Śani
(शनि) also known as
Shanaiscarya (शनैश्वर),
Shani Bhagavan,
Shaneesvara and
Shaneesvaran. Shani
Dev is the son of Lord
Sun (सूर्य) and the
mother of Lord Shani is
Chhaya (Suvarna).
Shani is the Lord of
Saturday and embodied
in the planet Saturn. He
is the cousin of Yama,
the God of justice.
According to Hindu
scriptures, favourable
Shani bestows wealth
and fame but at the
same time, an
unfavourable Shani
gives endless miseries.
A favourable period of
planet Shani bestows
sharp memory, and
makes people wealthy
and famous. There is a
satisfactory profit in
business and one can
also get hidden
treasures. During the
unfavorable period of
Shani, one has to face
endless miseries.
Chances for loss of
property, wealth and
health also do exist.
There can also be
humiliation in public life,
as a result of
involvement in ill deeds.
One has to face
humiliation and
sometimes gets
diseased to incurable
ailments.
Lord Shani punishes
only those who are
involved in ill deeds.
However, he becomes
happy and favorable to
people performing good
deeds and rewards
them with lots of
progress in their life and
may also elevate them
to high positions Lord
Shani delivers the result
of our deeds without
any favour or
animosity.

shiv shani mandir

The unique temple where guru siv is with shisya shanidev is located at old b.d.o office, dhori, bermo, bokaro, jharkhand.
Lord Shiva is the
Guru of Shani
Dev. This short
story explains
us the power of
Lord Shani Dev.
One morning,
Lord Shani Dev
said to Lord
Shiva that he
has to pass over
their moon. Lord
Shiva was
shocked by the
news and
requested him
not to pass over
his moon. Lord
Shani Dev said
that he couldn’t
skip his duty.
But he would
gaze him for a
very short time
and that is the
way the things
have to go on.
Listening to the
words of Lord
Shani Dev, Lord
Shiva
understood and
asked him that
how long he will
be gracing him.
Lord Shani Dev
answered that
his period Sade
Sati is for 7.5
years, But Lord
Shiva was not
agreeing for
this. Again Lord
Shani said that
let me reside
with you only for
5 years or at
least for 2.5
years. But Shiva
was not ready
for 2.5 years,
nor 7.5 months
or even 7 days.
Lord Shani Dev
said to his Guru
that if he spared
him, no one in
the world will
Trust on him,
Ultimately he
agreed to stay
in Lord Shiva’s
moon sign for
only 3 hours and
45 minutes. Lord
Shiva thought
that Lord Shani
Dev would not
be able to do
anything within
this short
period.
Lord Shiva went
to River Ganga
to take bath by
thinking that 3
hours and 45
minutes time will
be passed in his
bath and period
of Lord Shani will
be over. Lord
Shani Dev took
the form of
watermelon
seller and met to
his Guru on his
way and as his
shadow fell on
him, his body
and mind
changed. Lord
Shani Dev
showed him two
watermelons.
Lord Shiva got
very happy to
see those juicy
watermelons
and bought it
from Lord Shani
Dev. He put
them in a bag
and proceeded
towards the
river.
Previous day,
King's two sons
went for hunting
and were
missing. The
king was worried
about his Sons
and he send his
soldiers in the
forest for
searching the
Princes. One of
the soldiers
reached to Lord
Shiva and asked
him what was in
his bag ? Lord
Shiva answered
that there were
two
watermelons in
this bag. Again
soldiers asked
that why was
blood dripping
from his bag ?
Lord Shiva was
shocked and
looked at the
bag, he also
found that blood
was dripping
from his bag.
Soldiers took off
the bag from
Lord Shiva and
opened it. They
found two cut
off Heads of
King’s Sons. By
the gaze of Lord
Shani Dev, the
watermelon had
changed into the
heads of those
two boys.
The soldiers
took Lord Shiva
in front of the
Angry King. The
King said that
Lord Shiva was
not a Brahmin,
he was a
murderer and
ordered his
soldiers to Hang
him. Lord Shiva
requested the
Soldiers to wait
for a few
minutes only,
and if he was
saved, he would
give them
10,000 Gold
Coins. As Lord
Shiva knew that
Shani’s gaze will
be over very
soon. The
soldiers agreed
for these Terms.
After a short
time, Lord Shani
Dev gaze was
Over and soon
after the two
King’s Sons
entered back in
Royal Palace.
Immediately the
king sent a
messenger to
the Soldiers that
not to hang the
Sadhu as his
Children has
come back alive.
Lord Shiva was
taken to the
Palace by
Soldiers. The
king felt very
sorry and asked
to Lord Shiva for
his forgiveness.
Lord Shiva said
that the king
was innocent
and whatever
happened with
them was all
Lord Shani’s
illusion. The king
then saw the
bag of Lord
Shiva and found
two
watermelons
inside it.
He arranged for
the fragrant
bath for Sadhu,
worshipped him
and fed him
delicious food.
The king gave
him new clothes
and filled his bag
with Gold coins.
After that Lord
Shani Dev again
reached to Lord
Shiva and asked
him, what was
the experience
of his Gaze ?
Lord Shiva
replied, “O shani,
you are Great,
only 3 hours and
45 minutes Gaze
shattered me,
what would
have happened
if you had
stayed on me for
7 and ½ years ?
Today I agree
that you are
most Powerful in
the world.
Lord Shani Dev
said, “O my Guru
Shiva, I am sorry
for all the
Happenings,
Please pardon
me, and I shall
never offend
you in this way
again". After
saying these
words and
bowing down to
his Guru, Lord
Shani Dev went
back to his Shani
lok.
Through the
Moral of this
story we can
understand that
Lord Shani Dev is
the Most
Powerful among
God as per his
Guru Lord Shiva
and Impartial
Justice for the
entire world .
