Mandir parichay

Shiv Shani Mandir,
Dhori is a temple
located in Bokaro
District of Jharkhand. It
is about 32 km from
Bokaro and is located at
Old B.D.O Office Dhori.
The presiding deity of
temple, Sri Shiv, Parvati,
Ganesh, Hanuman,
Kartikey and
Shaneshwara or Lord
Shani- the
personification of the
planet Saturn is
worshipped with
utmost reverence and
devotion by multitudes
of people from all over
the locality. The
spectacle of the deity in
shivling is
overwhelming.Unlike
other pilgrimage
centres, devotees here
can perform puja or
abhishek or other
religious rituals
themselves. One of the
unique aspects of the
temple is that it is the
one and only temple in
Bermo area where Lord
Shiva and his loving Lord
Shani are established
together. The people
here believe that it is
the benediction of the
god that locality is quite
peaceful. Shri Maa
Banaso Temple and The
surya temple of
Badhkaro are the
nearby attractions.
By road, temple is linked
with Bokaro (32 km)
and Phusro (01 km).
Phusro Railway Station
and Amlo halt is the
nearest railhead.

The temple was made
in 1975 by the effort of
local rich men.Mr.
Awadhesh Pathak was
chosen as the first
priest(pujari ji) of the
temple.He worshiped
lord shiva with full of
devotion and faith,then
Mr. Arvind pathak(son
of Awadhesh pathak)
took the official duty of
temple as his father
became unable.In the
year 2008 Mr. Shudir
gupta established lord
shani in the same
campus by the help of
Arvind pathak

men.,they are the pillars
of this temple.
